a little indulgence...

So one of my favorite families met up with me to take some family photos. There was a skate park that I have been eyeing for a while and, though maybe a little skeptical, they allowed me to indulge myself and photograph them there. And I think it was worth it :o) We also went to a park, but I think the skate park ones were my faves of the day!

They did a lot of indulging that day. I made the lovebirds pose for a few photos. It's always nice to have some pictures of the two of you. After the babies come it seems we often forget to just photograph mom and dad, so I always try to get a few shots during my shoots.


I love this daddy toddler shot. So typical, so sweet. I love this kid!


Okay, I enhanced the color a little, but how could I not with those beautiful eyes!!


And I love this shot too. It shows little mr. T's cautious side.






And lastly, I love this shot. I love these kids. Love, love, love.


Thanks again for indulging me. There were so many shots of you I love, it was hard to pick what to put up. You are a beautiful family, beautiful people, inside and out and I feel blessed to call you my friends! Hope you love your photos!

almost...family of five

This beautiful family is about to add another little darling to the mix, so we figured we had better capture Rachel's belly before it's gone. Rachel is fast becoming a good friend and has taught me more about the computer side of photography than anyone. She has also captured some amazing shots of me and my family. So I was very excited, and honestly a little nervous, to finally be able to repay her. But I shouldn't have worried, she knows what works, and what she was looking for, so she made it really easy for me, and I think we ended up with some great shots!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this fun couple and her adorable belly in their home and at Tynehead park. There was much laughter, and I was very entertained! The baby should be making his or her arrival any day now, and I am so excited for them all to meet each other!

in the garden

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Bonnie and their adorable little girls in Chinatown in some cultural gardens (that I already forget the names of). But they were beautiful, and I always love finding a fun new place to shoot. The girls were lots of fun and liked to "strike a pose".
As usual, I had a hard time picking pictures to post, but these are some of my favorites...

I met this sweet little family for a photo shoot in Fort Langley. I am always so happy for outdoor shoots, there's just so much fun to be had! And Isabelle has to be one of the more content babies I have ever photographed! Her mom and dad were a lot of fun too! Here are a few favorites

Peyton

I recently had the priveledge of photographing 13 day old Peyton in his home. This precious little boy was an amazing little subject, and did so well throughout our shoot. I just love little newborns, and Peyton cooperatd so well by having both awake time and a little sleep for us. I couldn't ask for more. Here are a few of my favorites

I met up with Cory and Christa a couple of weeks back as baby number 2's arrival was imminent andthey wanted to capture the belly before it disappeared. Christa takes beautiful photos herself so she really wanted to concentrate on the three of them. They were a dream to photograph as they are both stunning, and baby is too cute for words.
